Gaining inspiration

Been reading this wonderful book by Wilfrid Thesigir.

It includes the lines "I had found a freedom unattainable in civilisation; a life unhampered by possessions, since everything that was not a necessity was an encumbrance"

It is serving as a helpful reminder to us to rein in the natural temptation to add more and more to the pile of things to pack and take 'just in case'
