pre-adventure holiday

We have had a wonderful time in British Columbia with Jay (first rate tour guide), Perry and Jen. 

We spent a few days in Vancouver and visited Stanley Park, Llyn Creek and various first rate eating establishments.

In Whistler we climbed The Chief, mountain biked at Squamish, swam in lakes, drank, ate, went up Blackcomb and Whistler mountain, visited Pembertom and played games.

On Vancouver Island we whale watched, swam in the Pacific, saw bears and enjoyed each others company.

It has been a wonderful family time and a great way to set ourselves up for our trip.

I've been thinking about life back home and all my ex-colleagues who will have welcoming a new cohort of PGCE students onto their course. I wish them all well.
