We ended up spending 4 nights by the coast as Rachel came down with a tummy bug. The upside off this is that it forced us to take several days off the bike and we had a really relaxing time hanging out in hammocks, eating, playing cards and swimming in the sea.

After not eating for a couple of days Rachel was feeling a bit hollow today so we deliberately didn't go far. We just went a short way for a change of scene. We are now camping at Las Gemelas (the twins), basically beside a crystal clear river that divides into two before going over separate falls. A lovely place and yet more swimming opportunities.

I had a fun rest day project. Our rear panniers kept sliding back on their rails and I needed a spacer to keep them in place.
