more Mexico

To see details of this section:

No sooner did we brag about having a Mexican SIM than we found ourselves in an area without signal for days on end and no WiFi anywhere.

We had a raging tailwind that blew us South and decided to stop for a rest day at Campo Beluga as it was the last point on the Gulf of California before we cross over to the Pacific. The campground was amazing. Super low key and right on the shore. We enjoyed a day doing NOTHING. Actually, not quite true, we ate, read, played cards and swam. It was so relaxing that we could hardly drag ourselves away.

We have been loving riding Baja California. It is beautiful with varied landscape and stunning desert plants. We are getting excited to be crossing over to the Pacific even if the sea will be colder for swimming in.

This is a brief post as I'm trying to learn from our list experience and to make use of WiFi whenever it is available. Currently sitting in the shade of a roadside cafe and feeling quite full after a huge plate of eggs, beans and tortillas all for the equivalent of £5.
