Down the coast

We have been loving the coastline. Truly stunning and it never fails to amaze in its beauty. 

We have been loving all the interactions with people as well. It is impossible to stop to shop for supplies without ending up in a conversation about our route, our bike, camping etc.

We have met: an ex truck driver who lost 100lbs after retiring by riding his bike, Tony, a native American who was recovering from having been shot in the ankle, a guy driving a Ford truck built in 1968, Willow who told us how Newport was not as cool as it once was and in doing so forgot what she had come shopping for, Daniel a police officer who wrote our Instagram details in his note book so he could follow us later, and numerous other folk who have wished us well.

Much as we are loving the coast, we have decided to head inland for some variety. We will be turning inland tomorrow to head for Crater Lake.
