The Pacific Coast

Today we finally hit the Pacific coast. It was overcast at the start of the day but by the time we got into route 101 along the coast the sun had come out and everything was looking truly stunning.

We found ourselves whooping with delight at the views and had to stop at every viewpoint to take it all in and get a few more photos.

As today was a Monday, I found myself thinking about the contrast between being at work and what we are doing at the moment. Much as I loved my colleagues at the University of Cumbria, there is no way I would trade a being in a meeting for a day cycling along the Pacific coast 😄.
