The first few days

We have had a great first few days on our tour. 

We crossed the border into the US without any hitches and now have 90 days to get to Mexico.

We experienced our first act of random generosity when we were presented with a fruit platter while enjoying lunch in a park.

The state park camping system is utterly wonderful. Numerous, cheap and really nice pitches in the trees complete with bear-proof lockers.

We have been treated to some stunning coastal views.  Blue sky, glittering seas and beaches littered with the most amazing amount of gigantic driftwood.
