Sightseeing

Had a fab day enjoying groovy Seattle. Started our tourist day with the most touristy thing: going up the Space Needle

Then mooched around the museum of pop. Which had an almost obligatory section on Nirvana: most interesting was the typed tour list featuring the Riverside gig that Rachel went to as a student.

Next up was a coffee at the super cool KEXP.

We were awed by the Smith tower downtown. 

Wandered around Pike Market which has 'Rachel the pig' in its entrance. 

Dinner at the amazing Little Ting Dumplings. With our amazing hosts Dave and Sharon.

Started our ride out of Seattle with a coffee from the artisan coffee roasters - Herkimers. Another typical Seattle thing to do. 

Dave kindly guided us out of town and gave an insightful commentary on the history of the places we passed through. 

On our way to Mount Rainier...
